Done as a Club Fundraiser!
Here's some information for tax preparation for all rugby players,
coaches or fans. The name of my company is "Personal Tax Services".
It is located at 4928 48th Avenue (same building as Uptown Theatre). The
company has been around for over 30 years and does over 3500 tax returns
a year, so quality is assured.
Basically, the deal is that every dollar above my costs earned on personal
tax returns will be donated to the club. All club members have to do is drop
their information off with the receptionist, mention Rugby and pick it up the
next day unless the return requires more information.
It's hard to say what the cost of any return is but we charge exactly the same
as H&R Block, less a $10 discount. A simpler tax return should be around
$60.
I would encourage everyone who is getting their taxes prepared by a professional
to seriously consider where they want the money to go. All returns are guaranteed
or we'll pay the interest and penalties. The more people, the better. So eveyone
should encourage their friends and family to help the club out.
