At the Red Deer Titans Rugby Club, we pride ourselves on being positive members of the community and on contributing to worthwhile organizations and causes. Below is information on some of the ways our members are doing their part, in their communities.
 
 
CANADIAN BLOOD SERVICES
Members of the Red Deer Titans Rugby Club donated blood at the campaign kickoff at the Canadian Blood Services donor clinic.
 
The club has pledged a year-round commitment to blood donation by joining Canadian Blood Services' Partners for Life program. In 2011, we have pledged to make at least 40 blood donations.

LOCKS OF LOVE
"Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. We meet a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics. Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure. The prostheses we provide help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers."
 
Anthony (Hamish) Pearce from the Senior Mens team, and 10-year old Gemma Edwards, daughter of Josh Edwards, another member of the Senior Mens team, will be shaving their heads on June 25, 2011. The hair is going to be donated to Locks of Love to help those who has lost their hair.
